With solid samples, photodegradation can result in erroneous data. To overcome this problem, we recommend using the TRANSLATING SAMPLE HOLDER that can pseudo-randomly translate your samples over a selected area. This sample holder can also be used with liquid samples – for when your cuvette is too thin for a stir bar. When moving the sample is not necessary, you just use our magnetic stirrer with the same sample holder – no need to switch anything.

With the TRANSLATING SAMPLE HOLDER, you have the ability to vary the speed and the moving pattern. The sample holder is computer controlled with the drivers integrated into the software of the HELIOS, EOS, and HALCYONE spectrometers.
